1932 Building

Est. 1932.  A reinforced concrete building with stripped Classical and Art Deco elements. The low-pitched roof has a horizontally detailed parapet which steps up at either end. Three rectangular panels are inset into the rough plastered façade. J. W. Christmas operated his Pork Butchery from the right-hand shop and in May 1932 Mrs A. Brook opened her Dressmaking and Millinery Business in the left-hand shop.
