Teasey’s Building

Est. 1939.  A two-story reinforced concrete building in the Art Deco style built for William Thomas Teasey, a draper turned land and estate agent. Beneath the low-pitched roof runs a band of and the decoration includes vertical lines, rectangular patterning, and chevron pediments. A cantilevered street verandah hangs from wrought iron ties with a diamond patterned pressed metal cladding to the underside.
