Est. 1939. Built at the start of the war years, this two-story reinforced concrete Art Deco building is of a restrained style. Running horizontally along the top of the parapet is a fluted rhythmic frieze interrupted in the centre by a stepped pediment-header, a typical Egyptian motif which is also seen in the projecting flat roofed bay window running almost the entire length of the roughly plastered façade.
